Since childhood, he had always been an extensive traveller and used to stay at some of the best hotels in the country along with his family. The finesse & grandeur of the hotel industry always caught his eye. This fascination for hospitality developed into a passion.
Numerous stays at hotels made him realize the importance of comfort, freedom, flexibility, privacy and personalized service. The concept of enjoying the luxuries of a hotel in a larger room with the facility and freedom to make your meals intrigued him.
He realized that there is a massive gap in North India in the mid-segment serviced apartment business, and corporate hubs. In 2005, the idea of Rosewood Apartment Hotels was conceptualized. The mere fact of providing a quality product and a delightful customer experience has always been fascinating and close to his heart.
With this noble thought & concept, he laid the foundation of Rosewood’s first Apartment Hotel in the industrial town of Pantnagar, Uttarakhand, in 2008 which was then completed in 2010. It was first of its kind hotel in North India and garnered lot of praise for its distinguished hospitality. The company went on to expand within no time, and numerous star-rated hotels were established in notable locations such as Haridwar (2014), Gurugram (2015), Bhimtal (2018), Dhanachuli (2019). Recently, Rosewood Villas were launched in 2021.
The hospitality industry opened gates of immense opportunities for him to achieve his vision. It offered a dynamic environment, varied guest service requirements, and the challenges of developing and managing properties to deliver a quality product.
